 Does anyone know what MUICache? It is located in the XP registry at location HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache. I also want to know if this so-called "cache" can be periodically cleaned? I haven't been able to find anything that will specifically answered my question. Thanks for the assist. :)

From Andsome's search result list, I found this the most interesting info. It brings together many information, and it also explains why you shouldn't delete entries from the MUI cache.
