I would like to give my new wife a memorable Christmas present and would appreciate your help and advice on the best choice.

I am considering getting her a nice new vacuum cleaner - but cannot decide whether it should be a Dyson, Electrolux, Hoover or Panasonic
- and should I give her a horizontal or upright one................

If you should regard my choice of gift as rather OTT and likely to set a precedent by spoiling her so soon in our marriage
- then can you recommend a good make of mop and bucket.........please................
