i have made things worse

end of my laptop already

dont know what happen...now D: drive is missing. on disk management, a partition for D: drive is still there (look below for the pic)

when i right click and choose 'Change Drive letter and Paths' or Properties (there are 5 options when i right click -- Change Drive letter and Paths, Format, Delete Volume, Properties, Help)...this is what is being shown (look below for the pic)

Why do you want to have these multiple partitions?

It is many, many years since I've partitioned a disk - I just don't see the point. If I want to keep files separate, I use another (external if a laptop) drive.

Did you try Gparted, as suggested in the other topic?

Regarding restore - do you have a backup?
