Unbelievably, it's now 7 years since the first release of Google Earth.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
It is better sometimes to point a man towards the pathway to a goal rather than the goal itself.
The pathway is where he will learn, - and remember.

Strange - I opened Google Earth - Help - About to see my version was 6.1.501 so I clicked on "Check for updates"
It told me that no updates were available.
So I went onto the Google website, downloaded from the link and version 6.2 was downloaded.
But I see it is a Beta.

Have you noticed Alan that if you look at my address in street view I have two vehicles. If I move on a couple of steps in street view I lose a Mazda Bongo !!!!!!!!
And the picture is now about three years out of date.

I have an extra schooner if you care to dare take a scary sail.

Basically it is a dangerous thing to click on links that are not clearly visible and that redirect to an unknown site. All yer links WOT doesn't like
Much better to post direct links like http://www.google.com/earth/index.html even though the link may get shortened by the forum editor.
